GET OUT AND VOTE!
Dh & I were in line at 6:30 this morning, not a bad wait-around half an hour. We use the computer method here and it was a snap, you have the option to "review" your options before you hit the VOTE button, thank goodness we got rid of those hanging chad cards! We spent an hour in prayer last night over this election, I voted my conscious and I have a good/peaceful feeling about the outcome! Please remember~no matter what, GOD IS STILL ON HIS THRONE! none of this is taking Him by surprise!
God Bless!
I too, spent a good time praying before I went at 6:07 am and was #22 on the list of people already there. I live in a very small town and was surprised that many had been there within the 7 minutes after opening the polls. I too, feel a great peace that the Lord has this in his hands and is "rallying the Saints" to respond and stand for what is right. Praise God. God Bless you all. -Diana-
I live in a very liberal area, (Montgomery County, Maryland) and we voted this evening around 6:00 p.m.
The lines were loooooong in the a.m. hours and we had errands to run. On our way back, we took and the chance and found the lines shorer. It took all of 15 min utes to complete. Cool, uh? I would've felt so guilty if hadn't been able to vote.
I took my 10 y/o son with me into the voting booth. So he ould see how important this privilage is, even if we're out-numbered about 5 to 1 here.
We also discussed how important it is to vote as a Christian, regarding issues, (ie: pro-life, DOMA, and elected integrity). He is looking forward to voting himself one day and has shown great interest in the issues. I couldn't be more pleased.
only hours away from the outcome.
Praying for God's will.
