Wow, a size 14!

I posted a week or so ago about fitting into a size 16 jeans...well, I went shopping in LA with my mom last Tuesday for a dress for my class reunion, and I bought a size 14 dress! I also fit in a size 14 jeans and large (not XL) tops! Praise Jesus! I'm sharing this, my brothers and sisters, not to brag, but to encourage you! I am where you will be soon, and I was encouraged by other peoples stories when I was pre-op. I was a size 22W (in denial and still squeezing into 20W clothes) just a little over 3 short months ago. I am so blessed to have lost this weight and regained my health! The Lord is so good and deserves all the glory for every pound that slips away. Our God is an awesome God! Bless you, Sherri

Wow Sheri, that is so encouraging. I have my surgery on October 13 and boy am I nervous. I guess fear of the unknown. From a 22 down to a 14. That's wonderful. Well,I"m on my way.

I know you will do fantastic. I am a real baby when it comes to pain, so my biggest fear was the post-op pain. It really wasn't as bad as I had feared. The Lord will take care of you. He is so faithful and awesome! I will be praying for you in the days to come. Bless you, Sherri

I felt the same exact way about the fear of the unknown.......but all went well. I know God was watching over me the whole time and I know many many people were praying for me. I felt really relaxed when it was time to go into the operating room. I didn't even have any medicine to make me calm, it was totally GOD! i came across a bulletin board the other day and I loved what they had on it..... COURAGE IS FEAR THAT HAS SAID ITS PRAYERS!
