A funny thing happened when I went to my preop. The internist was reading the results of my stress test and she asked me if I knew that I had had a heart attack. Well, of course, it took me totally off guard. When I came to myself I just started praising God. Thanking him for his favor that is in my life. Knowing that this thing could have took me out. They also told me that I was borderline diabetic. I am so happy that I decided to have this surgery for more reasons than one. To God be the glory for the things that he has done!!!!

Well Marcella you just go right ahead and PRAISE THE LORD! you truly have a right and reason to do so. He watches over us and protects us from hurt, harm and danger when we aren't even aware of it. Be blessed, Georgeann

Amen to that. God is just awesome. I called my cardiologist and she read that I have hypertensive heart disease, but I still praise God. If he can take out a heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh, he can fix this old heart of mine

Thank you guys so much. I am on the count down and I am having mini panic attacks. I guess it's anxiety. I am still reeling form the awesomeness of God. I know that there is pain with this operation, but I have to keep looking at the future and where it will take me.
