Please lift me up..
in prayer. Thank you so much for the prayers and postings the first part of the week.
For an update, my visit to the center and my surgeon's visit went well. They use two pysc doctors, and I was even able to see one the very next day. What a blessing that they had an opening.
However, I am a little confused and trying not to be worried. The pysc. said that I need a year of counseling, but that surgery would benefit me. I think he is concerned because I have a lot going on...my husband is disabled, I work full time, part time and go to college twice a week. I also have children.
But, I am not quite sure what he meant by this. I am hoping that counseling and post op support groups will be good. I am a very strong person, which is why I have muddled through school for five years, worked and dealt with the health issues of my husband.
I am trying not to worry. I want to be healthy, for me and my children. I need to be healthy, because my husband isn't.
Please pray for me, that I can rest in His love, and that God will impress upon this doctor's heart the need for this surgery.
You will all be in my prayers. I am so glad I found this site.
God bless you all,
Kathy
Kathy, Im so glad you found this site too. It's wonderful to be able to come here and ask for prayer, and know people are praying for you. I pray that Our Lord Jesus will speak to the doctor's heart concerning this surgery, and he will open up every door that needs to be opened and close the doors that need to be shut. I pray that you can rest in HIS peace, and that he will guide your each and every foot steps to the path that he has directed for your life.
Kathy have fun on this journey. Their may be bumps ahead but he will remove those in his timing.
Blessings
