On Tuesday, April 27, I had the RNY Laproscopic Gastric Bypass. The Surdery went "text book" according to Doctor Davidson.. However, I had an allergic reaction to the pain meds.. never had any before..did not know that..! It put a big lick on my lungs and breathing..however, Friday night I went home!! Saturday I walked around the block! Sunday I walked around two blocks! Monday I walked a mile... and been walking everysince... today I bought me a bicycle so I can ride with my wife and son. This past Wednesday, I went to the doctor for a one week follow up. He was very pleased.. I had lost 24 pounds since Surgery!! I went on a diet about 6 weeks ago when my surgery was scheduled. I have lost a total of 51 pounds. God be all the glory for the great things He has done! Today I am 10 days post and riding a bicycle and enjoying life.. I have many more pounds to shed..so.. let me keep sipping my water and going.. God bless each of you!

GONGRATULATIONS !!!!!! You sound like me. Everyone is saying I should slow down, but I can"t. I am walking about 1/2 mile and I am 6 days out. I, like you had no complications. God has given us this great tool and we want to do what we can with it. God Bless You.

WAY to go Greg! Congrats and keep up the good work. I believe this surgery was a wonderful gift from the Lord! My surgery went well and my stats are 244 start, loss so far 108 lbs, weight today 136! About 15-20 lbs left to lose! In 10 months you'll be so amazed at the renewed stamina and restored health you'll have! God is good all the time. Ann N.
