My Best Friend is dying, Pray Please!
Hi AMOS,
Please pray for our best buddy 'Harvey'. He has had congestive heart failure for quite some time. He has reached the point that all of his organs are failing. After several days of passing blood, they did an operation yesterday to see what was wrong. They found his bowel was dead, his kidneys, liver, heart and lungs are all extreemly diseased. They were unable to close his wound, so he is currently in a medically induced coma. His prognosis is weak, along with his salvation. My DH (In seminary) prayed with him and asked if he would accept Jesus, he shook his head NO! I could have died! He did nod 'yes' to be prayed for. I pray that in his coma, the Lord will 'speak' to him, and he will come back, even if for a short time, to accept Him before he passes. His condition is definately terminal. Thanks for taking the time to read and pray! I know the Lords will, will be done, but it still HURTS ALOT when he's our best friend!! God Bless and Have a good night!!
I prayed for your friend Harvey, Pamela.
A coma certainly does not put your friend out of God's reach! Take heart in God's goodness, love and faithfulness and not so much in the failings or words of men. We don't know what goes thru a person's mind and heart as they drift from life. Dwell on God and His perfect Character. He wants Harvey to be saved more than everyone! I will continue to pray with you!
Blessings and love,
Nancy
I asked the Holy Spirit to move upon his heart, open his spiritual eyes, and turn his stony heart into a heart of flesh in order that those who are consoling with him and proclaiming Christ to him can break thru and that the spirit of the Lord can move upon his heart to receive Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord. Also, I asked God to touch his body and heal him. God's will be done in this situation, and I pray strength for you and his family!

Hi Pam,
I'm sorry to read about your friend. Just know that God already has a plan for him and though we love our loved ones dearly, the Lord's plan for their lives is greater. I know that it is hard but the Bible talks about how absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I wish you and your friend many blessings.
Many Blessings,
Marilyn
