OT: the passion!!!
I just want to say, I went to see mel gibsons The passion, and i was move to tears!!! God is so awsome. When you see what our lord and savior Jesus endured, it makes me think, My God, how great your mercy and grace is. He died for me, that i might have life everlasting! He suffered the penalty of sin so that i might not have to. He took upon his self Hell so that i would have to opportunity not to!!! He is the perfect sacriface, the good shepard who laid down his life for his sheep!!! I can't comprehend Love like this!!! It makes me think, I spend so little time (if any at all) praying, reading the word, worshiping, and sooo much time (probably 99.9 percent) complaining about my life! Oh, Dear lord, forgive me! I am glad I saw this movie, it really put things in prospective, I pray that many lives would be touched by the saving knowledge of christ through this media. Well, i hope all my christian amos buddies don't mind my posting thus, but i am so greatful to God, word cannot describe how greatful I am.
in christ,

Mimi,
I saw this movie last Sat. I came home and I quit ...not that night it was the next morning...
I had a dream that I was standing at the foot of the cross on calvary...I was smoking a cig.. I felt myself get ashamed so I turned around and faced the other way like he couldn't see me then. I could hear the devil laughing at me...tell me he still had me...
WELL RIGHT THERE YOU HAVE IT...IF THE devil IS SAYING IT...IT'S A LIE!!!! HE IS A LIAR AND THE FATHER OF IT...CAN I GET AN AMEN?????
I am on my fourth day of no smoking. This is the only movie I bought a ticket for that I knew how it started and ended and I went to see it anyway. WELL WORTH IT!!!!!! I have read this story a thousand times...but to see it in your face like that certainly does raise the accountablity.

The passion was a very good and soul searching movie. If one did not believe in Christ before seeing it, it sure made one think. To know that my Savior endured so much pain for me is so awesome. He gave his life when I am so unworthy. Praise God for such a loving Father.

I agree 100% My husband and I took our son to see it on Wednesday. It was very moving. I'll say this, I have read the story many times, and know what Jesus went through to give us life everlasting, and save us from our sins, bu****ching this movie made is so very real. Reading about what Jesus went through is a far cry from SEEING what Jesus went through. I was in tears through the whole movie. I am certain that God is working through Mel Gibson. How else could he have made such a moving movie? Anyway, I am glad that I saw this movie, and my husband said that when it comes out on DVD, we are definitely purchasing it. I pray that the unbelievers that see this movie( and you know that there will be many), will get a revelation, and asked to be saved. God Bless, Heidi
I agree totally with what you said!! Let me tell you, once I saw it some verses came alive. I mean Isaiah 53:5 took on a whole new meaning. A few years ago I was diagnosised with Bipolar. My meds each month were very very expensive. I have a had a relationship with my Lord for a long time and I love him with all my heart. I knew he could heal me. but it took seeing the movie, seeing what Christ went through, "His Stipes" were made very real to me. Since then I have not taken another pill. I knew I was to leave them at his feet. Please understand the meds I was on had nasty side effects, especailly if you just stopped taking them...I had tried before. But this time, I put them down and I have been normal. no side effects. No mood swings. My husband even noticed that I wasn't taking them and I was doing well. I was healed. Completely. It has been since the first week the movie came out. I am still amazed! My God did this for me. Me. How could I not serve Him? Praise the lord!!
