The Lords Supper

Just as there are laws and rules that govern us, Christ also left instructions on how we should remember and honor Him. 1 Corinthians 11 tells us how to show Him honor and respect. I know my Pastor asks us to take a few minutes to reflect on if our hearts are in the right place or if we need to make something right before we partake of the sacrement. It is a solemn and reverent occasion and should be treated as such. It is our way of honoring the sacrifice Christ made for us so that we can spend eternity in heaven with Him. Always remember the reason we show our thanks to Him.

God bless!

There have been time when I have meditated and prayed the last two verses of Psalm 139, the "Search me oh God..."  Passage

I was raised Catholic, and spent from the time I was seven till I was 17 going to confession and doing penance before taking Communion.  I was already used to the confession part of preparing for communion.

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
