Before I go onto today's topic please pray for my grand daughter's boyfriend, he was taken to the hospital today with a temp of 103,  pain in the neck and head, plus chest pain. They are checking for meningitis and have to do a spinal tap to determine it. He's a very health concious young man so takes good care of himself and being ill doesn't go over well with him. I guess they have him doped up on dilaudid for now to help with the pain. So anyways prayers appreciated as they are also expecting a baby the end of next month, so they need him up and healthy again!

Now on to the regular programing . Be the cream, when you are living your life for Jesus you should strive to be the cream, do the best you know how, no matter what the situation. Whether it be at your job, school or tending to children at home. Jesus is the "cream of the crop" so we need to strive to be like Him, be the best we can, give it our all no matter how insignificant you might feel the task is. It was given for a reason, so you could show God your love and respect for Him by doing your all. So go out there and be the cream folks!

God bless!

I was halfway done a reply to this topic, and it disappeared.  Argh!  I like this topic, because I have seen so many Christian businesses that were poorly run, and people ripped off by so called Christian businesspeople.

I went to college after my kids were born, and I did a lousy job at home, my house was always a mess, and I rarely tidied it.  My kids never brought friends home because of it.  But, I really did not want to go to college, and my husband encouraged me to go, because I was not doing anything at home anyway.  I feared failing my classes.  I never took the SAT exams, because my parents were not going to pay for me to go to college anyway.  So, I shared my fear of failing with a minister friend, and he told me to do my best, and give God the rest.  Well, I made Dean's List three semesters and graduated *** laude, with honors.

God honored my attempts to do my best in school.

Hugs,
Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
