Measuring

How do we measure spiritual growth? Is a huge mega church more blessed than a tiny country church? Is a popular preacher more Godly than the preacher at the tiny church? Absolutely not, those are not measures of spirituality. Our spirituality shows everyday in how we act and respond to daily life. How we show Christ in us is how we show others what kind of Christians we are and how deep our spiritual growth is. So be sure to use the right measuring stick when looking at your spiritual life!

God bless!

My church has a saying we encourage each other with:  Be the church.  It means reach out to others and minister to them in someway.

When I moved, 6 men and 5 teens helped.  There were people from my church taking the time out of their Labor Day weekend to help me.  My two friends from AA were so impressed by their generosity they both want to attend my church.  That is how my church measures spirituality.  I have been the church by helping a friend in AA who can't drive.  I have taken her to doctor appointments and such.  She is a baby Christian, and has had a rough time kicking drugs.  She was here helping me move.

How are the tootsies?  I was a bad girl and did not wear the boot much today.  When we get a lot of rain, I don't like to wear it when I have to go out for a lot of reasons.

Hugs,
Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
