Work is good!
Happy Labor Day all, hope those with time off work are enjoying and relaxing today!
Some Christians are raised to believe work is wrong and a curse from Adam and Eve, which is sad because even God works and His is certainly more important than ours. If we are made in His image then we too should be working and feeling fulfilled by the work we do.We shouldn't be boastful or compare our work to others but we should feel that our work is important and worthy of doing. God has given us the duty of watching over His domain. So let's jump into our work with the same excitment that God puts into His work, give it our best and work till it is done. No job is too big or too small for us to do for Him.
God bless!

Hi Karen,
When I was teaching, I hated going to work for most of my career. Out of 21 years, I only taught for four years at decent schools. It was like a war zone throughout most of my career, and I hated teaching.
Social work is totally different. I love that and never hate going to work.

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
