Wow what a couple of crazy days! Thursday I had 2 doc appts. then got stuck in traffic but remembered a back way so snuck across the freeway on a gravel access road and headed the other direction.

Then today I was scheduled for a thyroid biopsy, they made it sound like it was an actual surgery so I didn't eat before. Pfff it was just a local but never even got that far because they couldn't find the mass that the other 2 scans showed. They found a mass but it was smaller and full of blood vessels so they decided it would be more dangerous to go ahead than to just keep an eye on it. So I came home and had somethin' to eat.

Then my foot surgery for next week was almost rescheduled because my EKG showed a blip. I'm sure it's the same as last time they didn't get the leads in the right place because it was the same gal that did it. But I still have to see a cardiologist. They said the first opening wasn't till Oct. 8th! Then she said no wait I just got a cancellation  on Tues., see how God works! So I snagged that one and hopefully it'll show no problem.
So Im gonna relax and enjoy the weekend, having the grand daughter and her family over Sun. after church for a barbque. Have a great weekend and to those of you on the East coast we'll be praying for your safety!

God bless!

Good Morning Karen,
I appreciate the prayers for safety over here in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.  We are bracing for Irene, and I am praying I do not lose electrical power.  Also, I live a couple of blocks from the Delaware River, which floods on a good rain storm.  We have had a mess of rain already this month, so I am sure it will flood.  I just hope it does not make its way up my block.  I also don't want to lose electricity because I have a freezer full of food I don't want to lose, and I really don't want to have to go to my sister's if it is prolonged.  We have had storms where people lose elecrical power for days.

I am also concerned about walking Utley in the height of the rain, because he hates the rain on a good day, and it is supposed to be wicked with the wind and all.

I have to get to work packing some more.

Hugs,
Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
