How much pain?

If you are like me the older you get the more pains pop up. Myself I live with severe arthritis, fibromyalgia and feet that are basically falling apart, toes go every direction but forward. I'm blessed with a doc that doesn't believe in suffering needlessly. He gives me narcotic pain meds with the understanding that if I abuse it he's done with me, so I'm very careful with them. In today's study it talked about no matter how much pain we are in it is nowhere near what Christ suffered on the cross and not as much as the pain we cause God with our disobedience. So the next time you feel sorry for yourself remember Jesus has already taken on your pain and everyone else's so we have no reason to complain or whine. I plan to keep this thought in mind everytime I start to feel sorry for myself and I hope it helps me to use the pain to learn from instead of time for a pity party. God bless! Karen

Have you seen a podiatrist? (I worked for one for years, hate to see people with foot/toe problems not see a specialist!) :)

Thanks Laura and good to see a new face, hope you join us often! I plan to start on Mon. again with a dailyy message so hope you'll pop in and share with us. My PCP said my toes are too far gone for a podiatrist and only a surgeon can fix them and even the surgeon said I may have to have continued surgeries because for some reason my soft tissue doesn't spring back like it should and my toes kinda "migrate" over time. Oh lucky me! On the good side it get's me a 6 week vacation in bed with lots of time to work on my craft projects! Even better hubby cooks and cleans for me. Actually he does most of the cleaning now since it's so hard for me to get around, let me tell you I'm so thankful for God blessing me with this great man. Well guess I should stop rambling and get on with things.
