Thursday Prayer & Praise
I am going to get up for the wedding. I wanna see the gown.
I need prayer. My sister has lashed out at me, because I changed my plans for Saturday. I was supposed to volunteer with her at a Special Olympics event, and my son offered to give me my Mothers Day present instead. He lives in New York, and travels a ton on business. He is going to be away the next six weekends, so this is my best opportunity to spend time with him and go to a Phillies game, which is his gift.
My sister has made snide remarks about me being unreliable, and hurt my feelings something awful. I got several other people to help her in my stead, but that does not seem to help.

Oh yeah family dynamics can be a killer! I'm lucky, we all get along good for the most part, especially since my parents have passed. We're all we have left so we better be nice to each other. I'm so sorry your sis is lashing out, that's really not fair since you have gone out of your way to make it as easy as possible for her. Don't let it ruin your good time tho, remember only she is responsible for her response, you can't please everybody. Hopefully in time she'll see it's silly, life is way to short to get ruffled over things like this. You enjoy yourself and your time with your son!
