Feeling bummed today..

Have my surgery date set for 5/9. Have to travel 6 hours away for it. So, i need to leave on 5/6 to be in town early for my anesthesia eval. My sis in law who was going to take me and stay with me has backed out on me. Hubby isn't really up for the trip plus would have to take my daughter with us and miss about 5 days of school. Senior year for her, so, it is really important to be there. I'm just feeling bummed because I'm always there for everyone else. Say a prayer that this situation will work out for the best!

I am sorry your family is not backing you at this time.  That really sucks.  I hope you are able to find someone to go with you to the surgery.  Pray and seek the Lord in this matter.  Then, ask your church if there is someone who can help you out.  Maybe you can develop a friendship in all of this.  I will pray for you in this matter.

Unfortunately that is one of the lessons we end up learning on this journey and that is who is going to be there for us.I too pray that this will all work out for you. I like Trish's idea of seeking a church friend or other friend to help you out. Trust God and He will make it work. God bless!
