Something new!

Trish is doing such a great job with daily devotionals I think I'llk switch gears and start a daily Prayer and Praise thread. With this I encourage you all to come up with something to praise God for, doesn't have to be earth shattering, maybe got you a good parking spot or someone did something nice for you. Of course prayer requests are always welcome and this will be the place to put those out, even unspoken ones where you may not want to put details out there.

So I'll start with I had the best afternoon yesterday with my grand daughter and great grand daughter. Went to see the new house she has with her boyfriend and it's really cute, so nice to see her with someone who takes care of her and not some of the ones that wanted her to take care of them! We had a nice visit and I took Tinker Bell bedding and curtains out for GGD since she has a big girl bed now. She was thrilled and immediately covered their doberman puppy up with Tinker Bell goodies. These two are such a blessing in my life and GD even made sure there was a chair I could sit in because I need arms to help myself up. They always make my day!

Good Morning Karen,
A prayer and praise blog is a great idea.

I want to praise the Lord for my tax refund arriving early.  With it, I splurged and bought an HDTV, and am getting a new mattress and boxspring to help me sleep better.

I love the story about your great granddaughter.  Please pray that my Mom takes me up on the invite to go to my daughter's to see my granddaughter's dance recital.  Isabel is 3, and has been taking dance since September.  Mom is reluctant to spend the money on flying, but my sister is trying to talk her into it, so that she can enjoy the Munchkins on their turf.

Hope you find many blessings in your day.

Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
