Remember flannelgraphs?

I didn't know the name of them back when I was a kid but they are those boards covered with flannel that our teachers used to put figures on to show the Bible stories we were studying. God shows himself in even better ways, look around you, see everything that God made? I am fortunate enough to live in a rural area and am constantly catching my breath at some new wonder that I see on my way to town. A deer and 2 fawns just slowly ambling across the road, the sun sparkling on the river, that same river in the winter roaring and churning from winter rains, the baby rabbits taking their first outing with mom. Every breath we take comes from God and we are blessed. God bless! Karen

I too marvel at the simple beauty in life.  It's those simple and wonderful things that I treasure in daily life.  :)

I love nature, and the beauty of it.  When I was in Florida, I took photos of a glorious sunset over the Gulf, and marveled at the palm trees, and the warmth of the sun as I swam in the hotel pool outside.  I love to go to the mountains of Pennsylvania and sit by a lake and watch the chipmunks scamper around, or sit by a bonfire at night, and watch the bats fly around, and listen to the crickets and peepers play their symphony.  I deplore living in such an urban area, and love when nature invades it.

Daily, I walk my dog along the Delaware River, and think about the history that occurred in my area.  It was my area where William Penn founded Pennsylvania, and brought Quaker beliefs to our country, founding it to be a colony where people could live regardless of their religious beliefs.  His home is still just a few miles up the river from where I live.  I thank God for the religious freedom we have here, because without it, I am not sure what religion would be in control here.
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
