In a disaster it doesn't matter whether you are rich or poor, brilliant or uneducated, healthy or a couch potato. In life the same thing applies, if you aren't saved it doesn't matter what your station in life is you still won't get to heaven. So be sure THE most important thing is taken care of first. Get right with God and the rest of life will take care of itself. God bless! Karen

This is an interesting thought.  When I got to AA, I was told the same thing about alcoholism.  Addiction is not a respecter of persons.  It does not matter who you are, what your education, religion, or family background is.  The brain will become addicted to the chemicals eventually, and then the addicted person will need intervention, especially a Spiritual one.

Now, I am so grateful for my sobriety and AA.  Most importantly, for God's intervention in my life.

Hugs,
Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
