Compassion

God's love for us is as wide as Christ's open arms on the cross. As parents we love and dote on our children. Can you even imagine the love God has for us? He sacrificed His only Son and continues to love us no matter what we do or how stupid we are sometimes. As much as I try I can never reach that level of love and compassion, I try to be loving then blam some snarky thought pops in my head. Just another reminder that only one perfect person walked this earth and I'm not that one! At least tho we will have that to look forward to once in Heaven. God bless! Karen

Thanks for sharing. That is just what I needed to hear this morning. (Especially the part where He loves us no matter how stupid we are sometimes..lol.) I've already PB'd and it was my fault for eating something I shouldn't have. If this band is going to work and be a tool, than I have to not be a "tool".

Blessings,
Tasha

Hi Karen,
Sorry this is late, and sorry I missed posting my devotion.   I have been sick, and not on the computer much.  I will get back to my devotions on Thursday for the group.

February 22nd is the anniversary of the death of my older brother.  Three years ago, he died of blood clots after double knee surgery.  He was 56 when God took Him home.  I miss both of my brothers deeply, as my younger brother died four years ago, at the age of 40, again to blood clots.  That is the reason I am so grateful I survived my clots.

God's love has gotten my family through these losses, especially my sis-in-law, and her kids.  they are grown, but still young adults.

Appreciate your prayers.

Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
