Do you feel comfortable sharing your testimony? I feel akward even tho I know we are supposed to do that as Christians. I think for a long time I misunderstood what I should do, thought I had to walk the streets and accost folks to tell them the good news. That I couldn't do! I finally realized God uses each of us in different ways to share His word. I'm more a one on one type of person and God continues to supply plenty of people to share with. I believe God will put you in the situations He wants you in to share His word. I also think alot of well meaning Christians put off non-Christians by pushing it on them before they are ready. Remember "Sew not pearls before swine." In other words don't push Christianity on people who flat don't want to hear it. They are not ready yet. When they are, God will make sure He puts someone in their lives. So stay available for God to use but don't just go off willy nilly because YOU thinks it's right. I think you are right. God doesn't want us to push our Christianity on others and turn them off. I believe God gives us openings to share w/ people we don't know. God leads everyone on a slightly path. I am more comfortable talking to groups but I do one on one as well, Sometimes it may be one comment to one person. Then God's spirit may lead him/her to someone else to hear more. I just plant the seeds God gives me. Some one else may do the watering. It can be the opposite next time.
