I just got home and wanted to give you all a quick report before I curl up for the night. Surgery went well, turns out my gall stone was nearly the size of a tennis ball!! Argg no wonder I hurt before. Anyway outside of the surgical pain I feel better. Just feel like a horse kicked me in the gut, but at least I know this pain will get better everyday.
I thank Trish for her devotions I see she's doing a great job and I'm going to let her keep on for awhile till I get a little snap back in the ol' step. Thanks for all your prayers I know that's why everything has gone so smoothly! God bless all. Karen

Welcome Back, Karen,
I am glad to hear your surgery went well.  Did they have to go open?  I had my RNY open, and did okay with the recuperation of it, just took longer.

I would be happy to continue with the devotions.  Just let me know when you want the reigns back.

Hugs and Prayers,
Trish

Your prayers obviously woprked because they were able to get it laprascopically. What I can't figure out is the side they worked on hardly hurts at all, but the other side hurts like crazy, they must have played Gumby with me on the OR table. It was so funny going into surgery the OR nurses started singing Broadway show tunes, heehee, we started with If I Were a Rich Man but I was out before they finished. I've always had such great providers when I go to the hospital. God is soooo good. Feeling some better today only feels like I wa**** by a small truck today. When it feels like I got hit by a bicycle I'll be much happier. Take care all and you're doing a great job Trish!
