Well today we are looking at how do you respond when someone you know fails, especially a Christian friend. Some may respond "Oh, I'd never do that." or "What do you expect, I saw that coming for a long time". It's easy to think we would never fall for moral sins or any other sins for that matter. However the more we think that, the more suceptible we are to falling for just that sin. Satan loves to use our hauty pride to trip us up. The Lord says we should forgive and pray for the sinner. We are all just one step away from being that same person. Given the right cir****tance we are all capable of falling a very long ways. So rather than cast disgust on these folks, pray for them and help them to get back up. We all have done things we are ashamed of but hopefully we have learned from this and moved on and up from there.  God bless all! Karen

I have a ton of empathy for believers who sin.  I am one who has struggled with certain sins, even after I was saved.  I encourage myself, and others with 1 John 1:9, and the passage in Hebrews where it discusses who Christ has empathy on us as well.

Not much else to share this morning.  Will chat more later.

Hugs,
Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
