Everyone's life is driven by something; many are driven by things like guilt, resentment, anger, fear, materialism and the need for approval. Job 5,:2; Ecclesiastes 4:4; Proverbs 13:7
There are other forces that can drive your life but all lead to the same dead end: unused potential, unnecessary stress, and unfulfilled potential. Isaiah 49:4; Job 7:6, 16; Genesis 4:12
The Bible has a remedy: Ephesians 5:17; 2Timothy 2:7; John 14:6
Knowing your purpose give your life meaning, simplicity, focus and motivation. It also prepares you for eternity. Psalm 32:1; 1 John 4:18; Jeremiah 29:11; Ephesians 3:20; Isaiah 26:3;Philippians 3:13, 15

I posted this because I have struggled with focusing on why I am here. I lose focus and go back very easily to my old patterns. I no longer work, due to health reasons, and my kids are all grown and moved away. I struggle with depression, and motivation to work on myself. I am back to eating sugar, and falling into a bad depression.
So, focusing on why God has me here on Earth is a good place for me to be this day.
