I'm sooooo late!
Sorry I'm so late and forgive me if don't make much sense cause I feel awful today. This blasted gall bladder is killin' me, I think I'm gonna take tomorrow off if you all don't mind and see if I can regroup a bit. If anyone else wants to jump in and have a discussion feel free, I won't be bothered by it at all.
Today's topic was about the freedom that comes with being a Christain. Now a non Christian will say "What freedom, you have to follow all those rules!". Well yes we do have to at least try to follow what our Lord has asked us to do but what they don't understand is that we don't look at it as a hardship because we love our Lord and really want to do whatever He asks us to because of that love. Not saying we are always successful but I think the majority of us try. I see the non Christians as having less freedom because they don't have many rules, it's whatever feels good do it. Well that leads to less freedom because there is no direction and everyone just bumbles around trying to find that peace that "our" freedom does indeed bring. Just because you can do what you want doesn't mean you are free. Blessings one and all! Karen

I will start a topic today, since you are not feeling well, and I have a devotional I can share from.
As for freedom in Christ, I am in a Beth Moore Bible Study called Breaking Free. It is about breaking free from the power of past traumas and sin that is a result of that trauma. It also discusses generational sin that is passed down from one generation to the next. I recommend it to anyone struggling with sinful patterns that have plagued a life time.
