I'm baaaaack!
Morning one and all how's your day so far? So good to see you here Trish hopefully we'll get more viewers soon. Today's topic is do we run from trying times or embrace them. I know my first instinct is to make it go away whatever it is. Just don't want to have to deal with it. However we have to remember this is how God grows us Christians. He allows us to be in a position that is painful or uncomfortable so we will turn to Him for help. When life goes smooth all the time we get complacent but when He presents us with a test we have to turn to our Heavenly Father for help. The more we try to use our own ways to fix it the deeper in doodoo we get. Remember God wants to help us, like a loving human father He wants us happy and wants the very best for us. So when things get rough remember to turn to Him for all the help you need. He is always there 24/7!
Sorry I am running a few days behind. Good topic here. I run from stress and pressure, and that habit is what got me into rehab in January, and obese. Food and alcohol were always my first choice when the going got rough.
Now, I try to turn to the Lord, and use my coping mechanisms to deal with the struggles. Sometimes I fail. But, I keep trying.
Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. That means I can deal with whatever life throws at me, and glorify the Lord in the process.
I will try to check in daily now.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
