Catching UP
Hi Everyone,
I have not been here in ages, and thought that since we will be having daily posts soon, I would catch up with everyone.
God has been teaching me so much lately. First, I retired from my teaching position on disability due to chronic pain issues and other mental health things. I am awaiting my pension from my teaching job, and am struggling financially as a result. God does provide all I need.
Then, in October, I developed a blood clot in my lung, along with pneumonia. I have a clotting disorder, and lost two brothers to clots, so I knew what to do and got to the ER immediately. I will be on Coumadin for life.
I was in a rehab for my alcoholism in January, and finally am able to say I have been sober since then.
God is good, all the time.

Hooray good to see you back and to hear that things are moving in the right direction. I'm so glad you got your disability, that takes a load off. I'm sure it's not a fortune but hopefully enough to get by with God's help. Congrats on the sobriety, I still pray for you everyday! It may just be you and me here but heck I'll give it a shot. I'm not as learned as Randall but I did teach Sunday school for awhile and I plan to keep this a very casual thing.
