Friday morning Coffee
Good Friday morning everyone. Hope you all stay dry today. It is suppose to be wet and chilly today here. I'm ready! Gonna visit with Lucy's family before they leave tomorrow and hang laundry. Why do I hate folding and hanging laundry? LOL I'd rather take a beating!
Our challenge today is to send some cheer to someone. There is a little girl I know from Troy, AL. She is in Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She is in a medical coma but opened her eyes yesterday for a little while. They are believing for a Christmas Miracle. Her name is EB Johnson. How about joining with me in sending little Erin a card? Here is the last update I got:
"Subject: A Little Idea that can go a LONG way!
This note came from Angie Adams, EB's Twilight Program Director. I think its just a splendid idea:
As we prepare for this Christmas season, let us take a moment out of our busy schedules of gift buying, decorating, baking and partying to reflect on the true meaning of the season. It is a time to share our love with our family and friends. It is a time of giving from our heart.
The Johnson family will be spending Christmas in Birmingham this year. They will be away from their home in Troy - but they are where they should be…with family. As their precious EB continues to fight daily, they will remain right by her side.
EB has at least 4,720 friends on this Facebook site. You are either a family friend, relative, or you know someone that is close to this family. Such a wonderful support group for the Johnson family, you are from several different states and from all walks of life. Your thoughts and prayers have touched this family’s heart and will continue to encourage and bless them as they continue this heart wrenching journey. How truly blessed they are to have you all together on this one site.
I would like for each of you, as you reflect on this true meaning of Christmas, to join with me and send Christmas to Birmingham for the Johnson family. If everyone on this site would send a Christmas card . Wouldn’t it be awesome for EB to wake up to a room filled with Christmas cards from people, some she may never meet, but all sending their love and prayers and wishing her, as well as her family, a “Merry Christmas". She may not be able to decorate a tree but let us help her decorate her room with hundreds-no thousands- of Christmas cards.
Giving from the heart…that is what Christmas is about!! Please continue to remember EB and her family in your prayers.
Please mail your cards to:

I'm mailing my card out today. Challenge to join me?
I'm enjoying my Chocolate Mint Memories Boca Java this morning. Sure is good. Now, to get the tree decorated. Boy, we are late this year in decorating. We've had it up and lights on it, just haven't had the time or the emotions to decoarte it.
Have a blessed day and cheer someone as you are out and about today!

For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"
Good Afternoon Randall,
I just addressed my card, and will shoot it out today. I am praying that her family see God work mightily in this situation.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
