Catching up on me

I have been under the radar a lot lately because of good stuff going on.

I started back to my school teaching job this week, and we have four days of inservice and classroom prep.  The kids arrive Tuesday.  This is the most insane week of my life, always has been since I started teaching.

Mom is in town, and we are having a birthday dinner, at my apartment, on Saturday, so I am trying to get this place looking presentable.  My son and his wife will be here, and I have not seen Casey in ages, as she was in California performing in a show for the summer.  You may remember that Mom and I had a falling out in June.  We are speaking, but I am avoiding alone times with her, due to that never having been formally resolved.

My broken toe is slowly healing, but still has its painful days.  I look forward to not wearing the stupid surgical boot.

I have a praise/prayer request.  I will be ending my alcoholism treatment next week.  I have been involved in treatment, either three days a week, or one day a week, since October.  I will have 90 days of sobriety on Tuesday, and I am doing all of the necessary work to maintain that.  I go to meetings regularly, and either speak with, or e-mail my sponsor regularly.  I am praying and doing my 12 Step work.  Please pray as I transition from treatment to working more at the hospital and participating in a Beth Moore study at my church.  We will be studing Esther.  I am looking forward to it.  I am also befriending a young lady from treatment, *****ally needs love and I don't think she is saved.  I take her to AA meetings, as she has no car at this time.  Please pray for her as well.  I am praying for opportunities to include her in things where she might meet Jesus on a more personal level.

So, that is what is happening with me lately.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi, Trish.
Loved your update! It's so nice to hear you so positive and forward-looking. :)  I will pray for all your requests. You've been walking in "treatment" for a long time, and you've done well. Now, walk in your healing; you're ready. :)
I hope you have a great set of students to work with, this year.
Blessings,
Mary

It's so great to hear things are still going well with you. The closer you stay to God the more He can do in your life. You are always on my prayer list and I'll pray that you'll be a strong influence in this young lady's life. May God continue to bless and keep you!
