1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (New American Standard Bible)

19Or A)">(A)">AA)">)do you not know that B)">(B)">BB)">)your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that C)">(C)">CC)">)you are not your own?

20For D)">(D)">DD)">)you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in E)">(E)">EE)">)your body.

Today's truth is:  I have been bought with a price.  I belong to God.

Ownership.  I watch my granddaughter with her little toddler friends and cousins, and I hear the word, "MINE" over and over again.  Possessive ownership is a key element of this truth.  I belong to my heavenly Father.  My body is His, as is my  mind, heart, soul and everything that is in me.  Yet, I let Satan play with my body, mind, and everything time and time again.  God is possessive and does not want to share any part of me with the Enemy.

Yet, being the wayward human I tend to be, I go play with Satan time and time again, and sometimes return to God a little broken, and weary from allowing my body and mind to be used by Satan.  Praise the Lord, He is in the repair business, as well as grace business.

I must remember this truth when I eat, as well as when I am tempted to drink alcohol.

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Hi, Everyone.
If we could just get a revelation of this--that our body is the dwelling place of God's Holy Spirit, and it belongs to God, we wouldn't even consider the notion of thinking, doing, or saying anything contrary to God's Holy Word.
I try to ask myself, "Would I share this with the Holy Spirit? Would I give this to the Holy Spirit to eat/drink? Would I think this thought, if I knew the Holy Spirit would know what I was thinking? (He does, of course, but how often we forget that!)
Today, I'm going to meditate on one word, "Holy."
Blessings,
Mary
