Brother doing well after surgery

I wanted to up date all of you prayer warriors.  My friend from chruch that I requested prayer for, has come out of surgery just fine.  He is experiencing some pain but told him that was expected and will only get better.  He will be released to go home from the hospital tomorrow and start his new life.  Thank you again for all your prayers for him and me.
Mary the devotion for today was speaking directly to me.  Thank you Holy Spirit.  I have been having some relational problems at home and at work.  I will take the scripture to heart and ask God for his help because I can not do it myself.

Thank you so much for the update on our brother in Christ. So often we are asked to pray but then do not hear an update. God deserves our praise and thanks, not just our petitions and supplications. :)  Not to speak for everyone on this board, but I feel confident in saying that we will continue to pray for his recovery.
Thank you for your kind words about today's devotion. God is so faithful, and He uses His Word to speak something into every person's life, who is willing to listen and obey. You are right, you cannot make relationships work without God (Who is love), Jesus (Who intercedes for us), and the Holy Spirit (Who teaches and comforts us).
