So happy for you. My journey has led me to be healthier but also so much closer to God. This has been a divine appointment for me and I know that with prayer it can also be for you. We are all praying for you that God brings you through this, as you said, in His timing and that His will be done in this situation. God Bless you and remember we are here if you need an ear.

Amen Karyn. I love that you are closer to God. I feel the same way and find it amazing that when one is sincere about seeking God He really hears our prayers. I would have never imagined something like this for myself 10 years ago! I'm a firm believer that "...to everything there is a season..." (Eccles. 3) and this is the season for regaining optimal health! God bless.

Thanks for the wishes for blessings we can all use as much blessings and grace as possible. I am praying for you as you go through this journey and just wish I could let everyone know how much sweeter this journey is when God is guiding you through it. God Bless and my prayers are with you.

Congradulations on your surgery date.  The Lord is truely good!
I like Unjury for my protien drink.  They have chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Chicken soup and unflavored.  It is made for WLS patients and uses high quality protien in its mix.  I use the Bariatric Advantage vitamins also.  They are good and good for you.  I feel it is important to use vitamins that are specifical made for WLS patients.  They know what we need differently than a non- WLS pt.  I did try to use the soft chewy chocolate calcium carbonate chews you get at the drug stores and walmart.  I got a kidney stone.  My urologist suggest calcium citrate.
I will be praying for you.  This is an exciting time. May God Bless you.

I use the multi vitamin and the calcium citrate from Bariatric Advantage. I find they are much better suited for me after my surgery.  Sometimes it i**** and miss but as Mary says as far as protein is concerned I bought samples. It took me almost 2 months to find one that I can tolerate. It is a process. God bless you

Thanks Sister Nita! I will be perusing many store aisles, etc. for the post-op items you all have been graciously sharing with me. I've heard quite a few people talking about Unjury with good results. I will certainly try it. Are the Advantage vitamins chewable though? My surgeon suggested that I stick with chewable tablets for a few months post-op. Oh, and btw (by the way) I heard kidney stones are awfully painful...sorry you had to experience that. Thanks again and God bless!

Yes they are chewable and tasty too.  Good Luck, and God Bless.
