Special Prayer Request
I had the opportunity to go back to the hospital I work at this evening for some training. While there, I met with my boss, who gave me some devastating news about a co-worker. Some of you may remember praying for Greg last summer. His wife had battled pancreatic cancer for over a year, and died in July last year. He is a believer. Well, he had been ill, is diabetic and had some sort of infection in his leg or foot. He went in the hospital on Tuesday and they had to amputate his leg, below the knee, today. I am stunned, because it was so sudden.
Please pray for this man. My boss said that his health has just deteriorated since last summer, like he is not really taking care of himself, and is just severely depressed. My heart broke for him, because I know he loves the Lord, and cares about people, or he would not be working in mental health.
Thanks,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Hi, Trish.
I will pray for Greg. Bless his heart. As I read your post, I had the feeling that he is willing himself to die, to be with his wife. Sometimes one will do that, but then when it becomes apparent that it's working, one will realize that one wants to live. Please take care of yourself, Trish, so this sadness does not get the upper hand with you. Okay?
Blessings,
Mary
