Been AWOL

Hi Everyone,
I have been AWOL for a few weeks, and wanted to drop in and say "Hello."  I have been extremely busy in my outpatient alcohol treatment program, in addition to going away the week before Easter to visit my adorable granddaughter, and help my pregnant daughter and her husband as he had surgery.

I sure could use prayers these days.  I am experiencing horrific pains, which I had back in the Fall, PLUS, I have the worst case of tendonitis in my right foot, and must wear an immobilization boot most of the time.

I also could use prayer as I attempt to wean myself off my current psychotherapist, who I have worked with for almost twenty years.  I grew extremely dependent on him after my divorce, and the loss of both of my brothers.

I will try to post more regularly.

Hugs,
Trish

Hello my friend it's always so good to hear from you!!! You for sure sound busy, but how great to see your grand baby! She must be growing like a weed, I know my great grand is and if I remember right they are close to the same age. I'm so sorry they haven't been able to give you any relief from the pain, as a long time chronic pain sufferer I know how it feels. It just zaps all your strength, so will continue to pray for relief. Sounds like things are going pretty well tho even with the challenges, but then that's life isn't it? One challenge after another, God must really love us since He's trying us to build our strength. You hang in there and continue one day at a time and know I'm always praying for you! God bless.

Hi, Trish.
It's good to hear from you. Your granddaughter is so cute, and you look good, too. :) Keep doing what you know you need to be doing. The rest will work out. Will you be looking for a new therapist? I'm praying for your pain issues.
Blessings,
Mary
