Please pray for this family. I taught the victim when she was in elementary school in Philadelphia. This story just makes me sick.

Hi, Trish.
I didn't click on the link, since you used the word "victim," and I always try to protect my heart and mind (due to my past). However, knowing that God knows the situtation, I prayed for the family and for you, as I know how it touches a teacher when a former student is hurt or worse.

One of my former students, at age 17, was killed by her mother in an incident of family violence. It just sickens me how families have gotten these days.
