Emily Update

Hi all,

While I was in Tulsa today for my consult appointment, I went by and saw Emily.  She is looking good, but is on O2, and says that everytime they take her off the O2 her saturation levels drop.  Her Dr. Says that she will be in the hospital until she is off the oxygen. 

She has a viril infection that she probably picked up from her family. 

She is in a lot of pain especially on the left side, the Dr. said that it was gas.  They are giving her Morphine every 2 hours for the pain

Sounds like they have the situation under control and will just take time for her lung to heal enough to work on it's own.

Hi all,

Just talked to Emily, she is feeling better, and they have taken the IV out and are going to see if she can keep herself hydrated.  They have also done an x-ray and Dr. says her lungs are looking better.  In fact she may be able to go home tomorrow.
