Hi All,
I am having my surgery on the 25th of Feb. I am believing God for increased faith and confidence to hope for a smooth surgery. I am flying out of Africa tomorrow night.
I just stumbled upon this forum and I am glad I did. Please pray for me and encourage me with your experiences!!
God bless you all.

Hi.
How nice to see a new face here. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. I had the VSG 3 months ago, and it was such a wonderful experience! I've had zero complications, zero pain, and have now lost 44 lbs. since surgery. Many have lost more than I have, but I'm content with the process.
Allow the Lord to be very close to you, as you go into surgery. Fall asleep with a smile on your face, and you'll wake up the same way. He is as close as the mention of His Name. :)
Keep us posted.
Blessings,
Mary

Hello I will definately pray for you. I had my surgery 02/02/2009 and could not have done it without God's help. He was their for me every step. I also had a huge amount of prayer warriors praying for me, many of them part of this forum. My biggest prayer was that I only had 2 weeks of vacation time and could not afford to take any time off with out being paid. I felt so good at my last doctor' visit that he ok'd me to go back to work 02/16/2009. God worked that out perfectly. I feel wonderful and know that God has kept me and covered me as He will you also. I am at such peace with this life changing journey and I know with God's help you will be too.

God Bless
Karyn
