He worked it out

I am 12 days post-op. Had surgery at Womack Army Hospital. It took me 7 months to get to the surgery. They are so strict there. My problem was the shrink. She made me go see a neuropsychologist to take tests due to a brain tumor in 2007. I am fine and I proved it.

My problem was that my husband is overseas and is coming home soon for R & R. I wanted to be on regular food by the time he came home. When Womack finally OK'd me for surgery, it was the first week in Feb. and I knew I wouldn't be on regular food by March 1st. However, when the nutritionist came to see me in the hospital, she said they had changed the diet and on the new one, I'll be eating regular food on the 28th of Feb! God knew my heart. He is so awesome. Aren't you glad He loves us?

Hi, Susan.
I'm so happy for you. Yes, the Father loves us, and He cares about every little detail of our lives. He's a great God who gives good gifts to His children. Have a precious time with your husband.
Blessings,
Mary

Thanks, Mary.

I see you're from Kansas, Land of Ahs! I am originally from Topeka.

Hi, Susan.
I still feel like a transplanted South Carolinian, despite having lived in Kansas for 25 years. [shaking my head]
Blessings,
Mary :)

God is so cool the way He does things.  That is awesome.  I was an army wife for four years, a very long time ago.  My 32 year old daughter was born at Ft. Ord, which is no longer an army base.

Enjoy the blessing of weight loss surgery, including the return to normal food, as well as the return of your husband.

Hugs,
Trish
