Hi to all. I am so excited to find this group. I am truly blessed. I have been praying about surgery since 2006 and my date is 02/02/2009. Any prayers will be so appreciated. I look foward to learning more from all of you and I know God is doing wonderful things, like this group.

God bless.

I am new to this forum too...

I am so happy I was able to have surgery this year... I have not been this thin since I was in college - over 30 years ago!

I will keep you in my prayers.  Your surgery date will be here so quickly!

Helen

Hi, Helen.
Welcome to the Family! You've done so well, since having surgery. I love that. Keep up the good work, and let us know how we can support you.
Blessings,

Welcome Newbies!  We're thrilled to have you here and have you with us on our journey.  You will love the support and fellowship from this site!

Guys, please remember my step-sister Pattie, in your prayers.  She's been in Cleveland Clinic for many months now with respiratory failure after heart surgery.  We knew she was a high risk and that's why she's at CC.  She's able to be off the vent periodically through the day now and had an artifical voice box for a while, but it exhausted her and she had to quit using it.  Her kidneys have failed on and off with dialysis being needed.  Now, she's unable to eat due to being so debilitated.  This is so opposite of our usual prayers, but please pray she is able to eat.

Sleep well!

Hi, Laura.
I'm praying for your step-sister, Pattie, that she will be able to get in the nourishment she needs. That she is able to be off the ventilator periodically is a good sign, isn't it? God is able to do above what we could ask or think! Amen!
Blessings,
Mary
