Hello friends!

I miss you all! There is so much going on here now with the growing family and new house. We are incredibly busy. I just wanted to say hi...and I would love to know what everyone is up to...how Christmas went for everyone! It seems like it goes by so fast!

We are expecting another baby in July...and already having some complications...so prayers needed for that.

Will pop in when I can. Happy New Years to all and God bless!

Stephanie

Hi, Stephanie.
You're new to me, but I wanted to say "hello." I'm from South Carolina (I'm a transplant to Kansas)! I grew up in Columbia and then Charleston. My mother moved to Heaven in 2001, and my father and his wife live in Moncks Corner! It's a small world, isn't it. Wouldn't it be cool if all 3 of you went to the same church or something! His name is Ray Swartz, and his wife's name is Diane.
Well, have a great 2009!
Blessings,
Mary

Hi Mary! It is a small world. Most people would not even know what Moncks Corner was...LOL! We are a military family and transferred here almost 2 years ago. I have not been on this board that much since then...because during that move I was pregnant, on bed rest...and still had to do all the moving. Our house was not ready when we moved...so we had to wait for it to be built...and we moved TWICE in six months...with me being on bedrest. I was hospitalized several times...and did have the baby a little early anyway. He and my other 3 keep me busy. We go to Pointe North. I don't know that many people there yet because the baby and I both have been sickly and not able to attend as often as the rest of the family. My husband volunteers with the children's ministry. Looking forward to getting to know you!

Hi Stephanie,
So glad to see you.  It has been a wild 12 months for me, and I am praying that 2009 is much better than 2008.

I am blessed with my daughter expecting my second grandchild in August.  She blessed me with my beautiful granddaughter 18 months ago.

I will definitely pray for your pregnancy.  I hope you are able to carry to term and give birth to a beautiful healthy gift from God.

Hugs,
Trish

Hey Trish!

Great to see your smiling face! I will pray that 2009 will be better for you. I also have had quite a rollercoaster ride. Dealing with a lot of medical stuff.

Congrats on the grandbaby to be! I remember when your daughter was pregnant. We delivered close to the same time.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

Hey Stephanie!  I don't know you, but live north of you near Dillon.  Like Mary, I lived in Columbia for many years but this is my husband's home so I moved closer to the coast.  I will pray for you and your baby.  I have spent a lot of time at MUSC Children's Hospital with my youngest and know tests and monitoring can be a real pain (so can parking around that place..lol)  May this year be full of joy and happiness for your family!

Hey Neighbor!

I am a transplant from VA/NC. We are a military family, and transferred here almost 2 years ago.  I also have spent time at MUSC. My youngest, Luke, was readmitted there not long after he was born. You are not joking about the parking! We also have had to see other doctors there...and sometimes had to go to several different parking garages to find a space on the top floor! It is NUTS! I do have to say, the care Luke and I received was pretty good, and that is all that counts in the end!

Hope you are having a great weekend!

Isn't this a small world?  We see Dr. Ian Aaronson (uro) and Dr. John Orak (nephro).  Every time we had to come down, we made a day of it and always went to eat at Bubby Gumps because Nate loved the trivia.  I'm not going to miss the trips but I am going to miss the historic time in the city.  What branch of the military are you guys?  We're active duty National Guard.

I hope you are sunshine today..we are lost in the fog!

Hey there! We are a Navy family. My husband has been in since high school...and can retire soon. We plan to move to NC when that happens. I am often up your way. I drive up there several times a month so my kids can see their dad. I was just there Sunday!

My sister usually meets her in-laws at  South of the Border to exchange children when they keep her children for a week during the summer.  She has 3 children, they keep each child on their own for a week, so she has to make a few trips.  It works well for us because we meet at Wendy's or somewhere to eat lunch!  Be careful on the interstate..it's terrible from Florence to Dillon.
