Prayers needed again!

As some of you know I have had serious back pain for years which makes my WLS journey very difficult because of the horrendous pain. I saw my doc today and he has ordered a standing MRI (which I guess is something new in the field) for Mon. I've had MRIs before but they never show anything and I'm sure it is because I'm laying down. I just need to know what is causing the pain and if it can be fixed or if I need to wrap my head around being permanently crippled. And if you could pray up some decent weather that would help too because they are forecasting a huge snow storm for Sun. afternoon and I'm already gonna miss Joel Osteen because of it! I had tickets to see him and Vistoria and now I doubt we can get there since we live out in the boonies! So any prayer will be much appreciated.

Hi There,
I am sorry you are struggling with the pain, on top of the anticipated weather.  I understand chronic pain now more than ever.  However this weekend it is lessened a bit by some steroids I am on for a cruddy sinus infection.

I will gladly pray for you as you undergo the tests and whatnot.

Hugs,
Trish

Oh, Sweetie, chronic back pain is the pits! I'm praying for wisdom, that the doctor will see what is going on AND that it will be fairly easily fixable. I'm believing for supernatural pain relief for you, and God can bring it any way He wants! :)
Speaking of illness and healing, I'm going to be sharing healing Scriptures with a friend who is a nurse and has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She is taking aggressive chemotherapy and has expressed an interest in what God's Word has to say about healing. She would like to be anointed with oil and prayed over. We are going to meet sometime Tuesday, between 2 and 3:00, probably. I'd appreciate your prayers. I've been sending her my devotions on divine health and healing, and she really likes them and feels that the verses are increasing her faith to believe for her healing.
Thanks for praying, and please keep us posted on your standing MRI (amazing what they can do these days!).
Blessings,
Mary

You bet I'll pray for you and your friend! I dealt with breast cancer a few years ago and strange as it sounds God blessed me over and over again. First by finding it when it was so tiny it was barely detectable, then not needing chemo only a lumpectomy and radiation! The staff at the cancer center were always amazed at my cheerful attitude but how could I not be cheerful with all those blessings . Plus I got to tell them WHY I was so at peace with everything.
I'm so hopeful about this MRI because I've had several in the past but they were always laying down and then they'd put a pillow under my kness, well that's a position I barely hurt in! I'm just praying this will be the one to show where the pain is coming from. Bless my doc he told me I could either double my pain meds or take them more often and if that didn't work he'd give me something stronger. What I would dearly love is to get off them all together, I hate how fuzzy headed they make me and sleepy. On the bright side tho I'm sleeping like a baby at nite!
Oh and Joel Osteen cancelled tonite and will reschedule later so hopefully we'll get to see him yet! Since it was too cold to go out I got all my holiday baking bagged up for delivery, so it was a good day!
Thank you so much for being a faithful prayer warrior! May God bless you every second of every day!!
