I think I know why I had to move everything back....... You see I had the $160 put up for the Nut appointment something just told me not to spend it and to reschedule with a medicare provider.......all this in the other post.
Well, last night our doxie, Kizer, drank a liter of water at one time. then  he had another seizure. Well, he has epilepsy and is on meds for it. So any way, he kind of smelled funky and was drinking so much I decided to take his blood sugar ( I am diabetic ). His BS was 408. So, I called the vet and he told me to bring him in this morning. So we went in and they ran some tests and our little dog has diabetes and is now on insulin. He aslo had to have his phenobarbital increasaed. When I got ready to leave it cost me $170 and I was told it may take a month to get his sugar regulated. So, I guess this is why I have had to wait. I need to be able to deal with my  daughter's dog and with her. she thinks she did something to cause it.... I have tried to talk to her,, but she is pretty upset about it. Prayers for all appreciated.

Hi, Emily.
I'm sure sorry about your pet being ill. Isn't that just like God, though, to see ahead to what would happen and work things around a bit so that you'd have the funds to deal with this cir****tance. I feel for you and your daughter. She will get through this, especially as she sees the dog improve. My prayers are with you, for wisdom, as you try to help her see that she needs not bear any guilt. I will also be praying for your dog, that his blood sugar will regulate and that the seizures will cease.
Blessings,
Mary

Awwww poor little fur baby! I would do most anything for my animals they are just so important to my life. We had a sheperd sheltie mix that had kidney failure and I swear every visit to the vet and they were often was at least $100 or more a visit. However God provided for us all until our dear doggie finally passed on to the Rainbow Bridge. I think God gave us animal companions so we could have a creature that loves like He does, unconditionally. I'm praying your little guy gets  better with the insulin and that your daughter understands she didn't cause anything.

I am so sorry to hear about your furry friend.  I have two cats, but have owned a dog or two in my life.  I hate when they get sick.  I will pray for you, your doggy and your daughter.  How old is your daughter?  Illness is so difficult for kids to deal with at any age, and they can blame themselves for any and all illnesses.

Hugs,
Trish

Thank you for your prayers. Madison is 16. She feels better now that she sees he is going to be okay.

Hi, Emily.
So glad Madison is feeling better about everything. With the Christmas season approaching quickly, it reminds me that we must be careful that our dogs don't ingest chocolate. It's so very toxic to them. I'm happy to hear that your fur baby is doing better.
Blessings,
Mary
