Thank God I found You!!!!!!

Hi Everyone I am new to OH and I have been looking for my Christian brothers and sisters.  I felt like a stalker reading peoples blogs to determine if they are believers.  I decided to have wls after being overweight my whole life.  People think it is for vanity or whatever but to me this is about being able to use the body God gave me to His glory and because one day I want to be a mom and I want to be able to run after my rugrats!!!! I am going to run and not be weary, walk and not faint because right now the parking lot looks tooooooo far.

Hi and Welcome to the Family here.  This is a terrific board of sisters and brothers who love each other and pray for each other. 

Your reasons for having your surgery are certainly not vanity.  Most people do not have this surgery because of that.  It is usually for health reasons and a better quality of life. 

God worked out every detail for me to have my surgery.  I am in awe of how quickly everything fell into place, and I am thrilled to be where I am right now, though I am certainly now where I want to be at this point.

WELCOME! We love new faces here and like Trish said these are the most awesome brothers and sisters in Christ you could find. I don't know why OH makes us so hard to find but maybe it's really God's way of making sure whoever is here has hunted to find us and really wants to be here. Either way it's good to see you and I agree with Trish no one goes thru all this just for vanity, usually we just want to recleaim the life God gave us. So best wishes and post often!

Hi. Welcome to the board. I am Emily. I am about a month away from surgery. I meet with my surgeon on Dec 9 th and hopefully will get a date then. It is really great to have you here. Post often and keep us updated.
