MIRALCLES STILL HAPPEN!!
I HAVE to share this with you. Even if it is to give someone's faith a boost. Not to glorify me, but to glorify God and praise him for the GREAT things HE has done and continues to do! in October of 1997, one morning, I woke up deaf in my left ear. I went to several doctors and audiologist to see what could be done. They told me it was nerve damage and that even a hearing aid would not help me. I would have to live with it for the rest of my life. I knew better! I kept faith in God and knew that HE would HEAL me! In HIS time! Sometimes I wondered, then I would think back to God's Word, the Bible and remember the scriptures in Isaiah 53:5 that says by HIS stripes I am healed. I would remember the scripture in 1st Peter 2:24 that says by His stripes we WERE healed.
Well, tonight, I was prayed for at church and God healed me After 11 years of being deaf in my left ear, I can hear! I can hear Lucy whisper "I love you" in my ear. It is so beautiful. My ear still rings, but I can hear. I believe that when I wake up, the ringing will be gone, in the name of Jesus! God isn't a half way God. He does everything ALL THE WAY!
If you are waiting on God for healing, for anything, HANG ON!! Don't give up! God WILL come through for you! I'm praying for you. GOD IS FAITHFUL!!

What a precious testimony of God's power to heal, Randall, and it is SO needed today. I was just commenting somewhere (on one of the boards) that I've been thinking about how, in Jesus' day, it was easier for people to accept that He healed than it was for them to accept that He saved. Now, it's the exact opposite. It's easier for people to believe that He saves than to believe that He heals.
Churches used to teach that we are saved by the shed blood of Jesus AND healed by His stripes, and there were healings going on all the time. Somewhere, down through the years, we took our eyes off the complete redemptive story, and we see people sick and dying, thinking that "it must be God's will." It's such a shame.
Anyway, don't get me started! :) I praise God for your healing. It was your faith that opened the door to it, and by faith, I don't mean your religious preference, I mean your faith to take God at His Word. That's the key, and that's what is going to allow God to take away the ringing in your ears, as well.
