Hey all you prayer warriors!
I am requesting those of you who are true believers; who believe His word to be true and everlasting, PLEASE join with me in praying for the next 20 days for God's will to be done in this election.
(If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV)
I do not want to get into a hot and heavy argument about politics. Please don't beat me up about this. If you don't agree with me, don't read any further. If you do agree, GET OUT AND VOTE and PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!
I just want us people who belong to Him, not to give up and let things just happen. We have power over darkness because Jesus gave us that authority. Let's not neglect that power.

I believe in prayer for the election. I believe this country needs a lot of prayer. I appreciate that we will not discuss the actual politics of the election, because I am usually on the opposite side of most Christians on political issues.
God's will is going to happen in this election. I pray mostly for a Spiritual revival in our country.

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Hi, Kathi.
You know me--I absolutely believe in the power of prayer, and I have been and will continue to pray for the election, that the person God allows to be placed in power will be the one who has godly values and principles. I pray that this nation has not caused God to turn His back on us (in love), to allow us to go on our own way to the point that we experience tragic results. God whispers, but when we don't listen, He begins to shout. May we listen to that still small voice that whispers, "This is the way. Walk in it." May we vote out of obedience, not party politics, not color of skin, not change for the sake of change, or maverick speech.
We desperately need revival in our land, a good old-fashioned Holy Ghost move. God is ready, but are we able to receive that? So many churches, I fear, wouldn't know what to do with the Holy Spirit, if He actually came in and sat down. Too scary? Too uncomfortable? I'm not sure what it is, yet the Holy Spirit is the One who draws to the cross, where is redemption, and fosters the Fruit of the Spirit within each believer.

Your post was not clumsy, in the least. I just expounded on it. I do not see my words as "eloquent." I just get to thinking and typing. If anything, I'm too long-winded. It's a good thing I was called to teach and not to preach! :)
