Request from band board

Amy on the bandster board is seeking prayer for her 50  year old father Doug. He has 9 tumors on his brain, one on the optic nerve that are being treated in surgery tomorrow. This is a last ditch effort and there is nothing else to do after this. I told her I would post this here for our prayer warriors to address. Thank you!

Please let Amy know that I will go to prayer for her father. I will pray that the surgeon's hands will be God's hands. Quite often, God intervenes in the "11th hour," so all will know that HE did it, so He gets all the glory. It's why Jesus waited 4 days, to go to Lazarus, already in the tomb. I hope Amy will keep you updated and that you, in turn, will update here.

I will be raising her father up.  My husband's cousin had a tumor removed from her optic nerve this past year and it was very successful.  Like this gentleman, she had cancer throughout, but it gave her headache relief and allowed her to continue to see.  She said it was well worth it.

I found this prayer request late, but I am in prayer for a miracle in his post operative course.
