GOD IS SOOOO GOOD!

THIS HAPPENED THIS MORNING!

At 5:55 am I got an urge to call someone whom I would never call at that time of the day.

I recently had a discussion with this person and they had revealed to me that they are diabetic.

So I called at 5:55 am, when they answered the phone all I got was gibberish.  I thought it might be a really bad connection because it was their cell phone.  So I hung up and called back again...when they answered I could understand them but their words would not form a sentence.  It was fragments and my questions were met with completely inappropriate answers.  I realized they were in trouble.  In the talking to this person something got through and they realized they needed some glucose.  After a few minutes....the conversation became  normal.  We hung up and I gave the Lord some praise.  At lunch I received a call and it was this person letting me know that this had not happened to them in MANY years.  Wanting to know why I had called.  THIS person then told me that it had to be GOD!  So MY GOD MOVED!  I am so thankful that this was laid on my heart.  Although I get up at 4:30 I would never call anyone that early unless it was an EMERGENCY!

I'm so glad you were obedient to the nudge of the Holy Spirit, that you called that person, despite the early hour. You probably saved a life today. You and God saved a life today. I give God the glory, as do you. He gave you that assignment, because He knew He could trust you with it.

Praise God for using you, His willing instrument, this could have been a disaster.

Praise the Lord for your obedience and His goodness.  That is really neat that you helped this person this way.

This is really wierd because we just discussed this in Bible College last night. the teacher said "What would you do if God woke you up and told you that you had to call someone at 3AM because they were about to kill themselves." It was rhetorical, but he was just trying to get across the point that we have to be obedient at ALL times. Have you ever noticed in the Bible that it is always the 4th watch (3-6AM) when the enemy strikes? Most crime also happens around this time. You were ready and obedient. Good for you!!
