liquids only

I am trying to get back on track today.  I am drinking liquids only today.  I know I have gained about 5 pounds and want to stop that attack in its tracks.  Pray I use my tool correctly.  In His Love, KimM

This is my prayer for you: "Heavenly Father, I thank You for Kim, for the determination I 'hear' in her post, determination to stop the weight gain. Father, I know that the enemy would like nothing more than to see Kim continue to gain weight until she reaches and surpasses her highest weight. I pray that You will feed Kim's determination, so that won't happen. I pray that Kim will utilize the Full Armor of God, against the enemy, in this attack. May she put on the helmet of salvation, reminding her of who she is in You and renewing her mind. May she tighten the belt of Truth by making a conscious effort to analyze everything according to Your Truth. May she pick up the shield of Faith, to protect her from the darts of the enemy. May she wield the sword of the Spirit, Your Word, by reading it, thinking it, and speaking it. May she put on the Gospel and walk in it today and share it with others. Father, I ask that You bless Kim's efforts. Be very near to her, during this time. May she experience Your 'ever-present help in times of trouble.' Father, You made Kim. You knit her in her mother's womb. You know her metabolism. I ask that You reach down and touch Kim's body, so her metabolism will be renewed and invigorated, as she partners with You to reach her goal of losing 5 lbs. I pray this in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Who encourages us to 'keep [our] body under.' Amen."

Mary, I love your Avatar!  What an incredible statement! 

It is a neat quote, isn't it. It didn't originate with me, although I can't remember where I heard or read it. I do say that what we focus on becomes bigger, so why not let it be God?!

Are you familiar with the 5 day pouch test?  Some people find it very effective in getting back on track.  I have tried it, but couldn't maintain it.
