***Monday Prayer and Gratitude***
Good Morning Everyone.
I have not posted the prayer and gratitude in a while, so I thought I would do so since I can't sleep.
First of all, I am continuing to pray for son-in-law, Trent, who had two surgeries on his finger. He needs a third surgery, and he cannot drive or work for now. Please pray for his continued healing, as well as the finances in their situation, as he is out of work, and he is self-employed as a contractor and has no disability benefits. My daughter is a teacher with a special part time schedule while my granddaughter is young.
I am so grateful for the glorious day my family had yesterday. It was my brother's 57th birthday, but he went home to Jesus in February. A friend of his organized a Christian concert at a baseball game near here and had the day labeled in memory of my brother. He gave my family a whole suite of tickets, and it was so nice.

Will continue to keep Trent and family in prayer. That is so thoughtful of your brother's friend to remember him like that, I'm sure it made the day easier for everyone who loved him.
I'm very thankful that my recovery is going well and that the pain meds are working, I can't imagine doing this without them. Have stood up a few times and WOW didn't know pain could reach those levels!!!
Thankfully tho the Lord is providing relief (along with the meds) so while being a bit boring laying around all the time things are going well.

I continue to hold Trent and his family up in prayer. I also received an update from Caring Bridge about Charlotte with cancer and it said she was able to go home! Prayer works, even when you don't know the person for whom you are praying!
