Wednesday Coffee Talk
Good Wednesday morning everyone! It's hump day and the rest of the week is down hill. I'm SO excited about today! Lucy and her Mom leave Minnesotta headed here, to Alabama! Please, keep them in your prayers and thoughts! I can't wait till they get here!
Our challenge for today is to stay away from "SLIDER FOODS"! What are slider foods? Mashed potatoes, popcorn, pretzels, white carbs, and foods that slide easily through the stoma. Slider foods cause regain and are NOT good for WLS'ers! I love my pop corn and I love my graham crackers, even cheeze nips, but I have learned they leave me with the feeling that I am still hungry. This is a WARNING to us all! Slider foods are the enemy!! If you catch yourself about to eat a slider food today, THINK HARD BEFORE YOU SWALLOW IT!! I sure don't want to gain more! I'm shunning them from my diet all together! WE CAN STAY ON COURSE!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm enjoying some awesome Vanilla Nut coffee this morning. Sure is good too!
