Dear Karen, Whatever you are experiencing, I'm sure it will be worth it. That's what I read over and over on these forums...that and "I wish I'd done it sooner." Take whatever pain medication you can (be sure your doctor knows), and keep thinking about why you did this--to get thinner and healthier, to live longer, to have a better quality life, etc. The Word says that "God inhabits the praises of His people," so put on some praise music and sing and praise the God who brought you through the surgery and will bring you through this difficult time. I'm praying for you. Blessings, Mary

Sorry you are having a hard time. Just try to take it easy and do as little as possible, except for your walking a little. No surgery is fun or pain free but this one is going to make your life so much better. I think everybody has a tiny bit of "buyer's remorse" right after surgery, I promise it will get better! Keeping you in prayer.

Hi Karen, I hope you are doing better today. I also hope you are taking pain meds to get you through the rough parts. It is definitely worth the effort to go through the rough times of surgery. hang in there. Hugs, Trish
